STUDENT CENTERED CLASSROOMS

We have all heard the phrase "the student-centered classroom." The term in the new age of teaching and tecnology is considered a"best practice" and how we can best serve our pupils. But what does this term actually mean ? It is about giving more decision making oppotunites to the studnets. It seems to be wrapped up in the idea of teachers becoming less "the sage on the stage" and more of " the guide on the side." This practice can be seen at our new ECCE Centres, which has now become part of my destiny, as it is my dream to become an adminstrator at one of these centres at the end of my journey at UTT. This practice I believe should be used through out our school system. Look into it, and tell me what you think!

  1. Hey Shanna, I believe this is the future for the younger ones coming to join us in this technological era. I am definitely looking forward to this new classroom setting. Exceptionally outstanding, as I myself would be specializing in the ECCE course. I like it Shanna.
